ERIC R. SHUMWAY

Eric Shumway is the President of Claremont Energy. Mr. Shumway is also Director of the Latin America practice of London Economics, a leading consulting firm in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He specializes in such areas as price and revenue forecasting, asset valuation, project finance and evaluation, and power market regulation. Mr. Shumway received an MA in International Affairs from Columbia University and a BA in English from Pomona College. He lived in Mexico City for seven years and is fluent in Spanish. He currently resides in Boston.

SVETOSLAV GATCHEV

Slav Gatchev is Director of Financing for Claremont Energy. He is also a Vice President of Delphos International, a leading financial services firm based in Washington, DC. Mr. Gatchev has substantial experience in arranging debt financing for major power projects in emerging markets. His projects in Latin America include AES Panama, AES Parana in Argentina, AES Andres and CEPM in the Dominican Republic, and Egechilca in Peru. Mr. Gatchev earned an Executive MBA from New York University (valedictorian in finance) and a BA in Business Administration from Washington College (summa cum laude). Mr. Gatchev speaks fluent Bulgarian and proficient Russian and Spanish.
